Jason Buell is an IT Project Manager and Applications Developer for Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey.  He is responsible for assuring a strong cooperation with Valley’s Nursing Informatics Department to implement the alarm infrastructure and staff assignment applications proffered by Connexall that effectively serves our patients and providers. His healthcare information technology experience extends to full-stack development for the CDC and its National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) project to reduce reinfection rates as hospitals nationwide; he also implemented data analytics and prediction tools coupling the NHSN project with its websites.  Prior to the CDC, he served as the lead developer for La Jolla’s Institute of Allergy and Immunology IEDB efforts to monitor and present emergent diseases in the epidemiological space to physicians and researchers worldwide.

Jason has a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from SUNY New Paltz.
