Laurie Campbell is an IT professional with 34 years of experience in IT systems. The last 18 years she has served as an IT Leader at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Initially in charge of their EHR (Epic) training team then moving on to manage Epic Applications, Clinical Ancillary Applications, IT Imaging and forming a new team for Unified Clinical Communications. Her team is responsible for the architecture, implementation, support, and maintenance of over two hundred clinical applications and Imaging systems. Her team has been on the leading edge of unified clinical communications for the last four years, integrating wireless in-house devices, middleware, nurse call systems, patient monitoring systems, alerting and VOIP systems. Children’s Hospital Colorado is now live with alerting through Epic and was the first organization to adopt Epic app to app calling.
